both my partner(pio) and I were asked to make 5 questions regarding the piedmont case using the 9 MIS elements. here are the questions followed by our answers:

1. why should they improve the customer order tracking process?

the company should improve customer order tracking process because it is currently inefficient, time consuming and costly

2. what are the benefits that the company will reap from improving the customer order tracking process?

the benefits that the company will reap from the improved customer tracking process is thaat they will be able to save the company money, increase sales, improve order processing speed and provide better management.

3. what are the costs to be considered?

reccuring costs: software maintenance, hardware, supplies, a new information technology position and site rental cost.

4. what are the five worksheets making up the economic feasibility workbook?

documentation, one time cost, reccuring cost, tangible benefit, and economic feasibility summary

5. what is the purpose of wach worksheet?

documentation worksheet provides information about the creator, each individual worksheet, and the data created.

one time cost, recuuring cost, tangible benefit worksheetsave dollar values which are totald and used in the economic feasibility summary worksheet

economic feasibility summary worksheet is a summary worksheet that consolidates data from the one time cost, recuuring cost, and tangible work sheets requiring reference specific cells on these worksheets.
