Most of us doesn't know a lot about microsoft excel, for some they new it as a simple spreadsheet where numbers can be placed. We must be thankful for having this kind of software. Why? there are many benefits and features that excel may provide most especially to those people who are in the business industry and for all the decision makers in business. I used to familiarized myself with excel becuase it is part of my course. Most of my major subjects required us to do a lot using this software, this is where we made our feasibility study, matrix, charts, cases and many more.
For those who are still trying to understand or for those who want to start understanding excel this site may be very useful. HERE
Who knows, you may achieve EXCELLENCE using EXCEL...

in obsolete skills, i chose to talk about how to use a manual transmission. below is a picture of a manual transmission. in using one, first you have to know what it is, as what i posted on google docs, the simplest way of explaining what a manual transmission is is that it gives the driver freedome to change the gears at any given time. there is a clutch which the driver uses inorder to get the car in the desired gear, there are a total of three pedals in a manual transmission car as compared to two pedals in an automatic transmission vehicle. to get started on how to use it, first start the car but when you do, make sure the car in is "neutral" (this is when the stick is in the middle and not in any gear). after you have started the car, place it in first gear by stepping on the clutch and placing the stick on the first gear slot which is the slot to the upper left (assuming you are at a full stop), slowly release the clutch and as you do that slowly step on the accelerator pedal to get the engine revs up so that the car can move. once you have reached optimal revs, you may now change gears using the same process, which is stepping on the clutch and placing the stick on the second gear slot which is usualy the lower left slot, and so on. see the diagram below to learn more about how a manual transmission looks and works. see the gears and how they are fitted in the housing.

when i typed my name in google, it was the first entry in the list, as compared to before, when i first googled my name(1st week), it was the foutrth or fifth, now its the first! it is nice seeing your name on the4 top of the list. when you click on my name, it goes to the people website. this website is a great way of getting to know someone online because you can read blogs, post comments, and more or less get to know how that particular person and how he/she thinks. posted below is what you see when you type in my name. as you can see it is the first entry on the list, a major improvement from the past weeks. click here to trak back.

Yes, I did it, to compare it from the first time I search my name online, the name yvonne jazzey melo appeared to be so limited and most of the published things about me are "kulang pa". What I mean with "kulang pa" is that walang kabuuang laman where I can be proud of. I'm thankful that during the first time I already have my online identity, though limited at least I still have it. Since I found it to be insuffucient, that's the time I became motivated to work on with my online identity. I never thought that by taking part on extra curricular activities would be the start to build my identity online. Extra curricular made it possible. Yes, I was on top of the list when I first googled myself, it contained my announcement regarding the latest social network for B.A.
To compare it now, with my latest identity online, I can say that I made changes to make it better than before. I had increased my connection, PCCRP, B.A., Pinoy for education and many more. I also learned that building a reputation online carries a responsibility to make sure that all of the things you want to publish must be good and sufficient enough for others to read online. By now I can say that "nagkaroon na ng laman ang online identity ko". I'm proud on what I have now in my online identity. These are some of the screen grabs to see that my online identity is improving.

I was unable to attend the online class because when i got to school, another class was using the comlab.
based on my understanding of cultural information systems, it is important because it saves the user effort in having to reseach a desired topic. with cultural information systems, all you have to do is type in a keyword, and just like that, the user may access information about the topic he/she is searching for.
cultural information system, aside from helping the user find desired information, has other purposes aswel, like: keeping people conected to one another. i can also say that for me, a cultural information system is also a social networking site, where in people are linked with one another, and may access his/her page.
